Concept Developement
As a producer in filmmaking and photography with an interest in branded flair- the pre production process is easily my favorite part of any project! Going from client dreams to reality is as easy as 1-2...well, you get the point.
Bleeding Pride was a passion project stemmed in my involvement in LGBTQIA+ awareness and own personal discovery with what it means to be queer, and what other people think about the “sudden rise” in queer folks that are out and proud. The sketches came from the concept that pride isn’t skin deep, it’s a fundamental part of who we are and what we surround ourselves with. The process from concept to planning to shoot to edits and final serializations spanned 18 days and pulled together a team of 20 individuals- a HUGE feat for the early COVID times and the small local queer community.

Empowered By Nature is my crowning achievement as an indie film produced. Working alongside Amanda Miller (director) I was able to overcome so many devastating hurdles with ease due to my ability to pivot on a plan and still get the best results! EBN was a Branded Entertainment passion project to represent the natural beauty and range of Too Faced Cosmetics foundation line, which led me to reach out and network my way with Too Faced Cosmetics to receive the entire line of foundation (over $2k in value) for free, with the promise to share the product with students at the end of the day! The second and easily the largest hurdle was the fact that not a single prop or production design item was ordered due to an office mistake. While professors and department heads were scrambling to find a solution I calmly pulled out 3 different back up plans, making sure that the production had every item off the wishlist…and more!! Live butterflies and the first cross major collaboration later, Empowered by Nature will forever be my favorite accomplishment as an indie producer with a 2 week timeline.

Undercover Addicts showcases the everyday vices we hold on to. Featured in this photo set was fame, social media, and caffeine! While we are always searching for the next hit, we don’t see everything around us in the bigger picture! From sketch to final this photo set took 3 days to complete- with the biggest hurdle being drinking all of the energy drinks in time for the shoot!

Let’s Talk About It was simply a short project that taught me so much in such a short span of time. From creating a brand, finding the client’s preferences, and running through dozens of logos- this short term contract had me developing incredible skills in a short time! This focus is on the graphic output- the logo. After being given the brief “keep it simple, keep it clean” I took the mentality of creating 3 logos; one the client requested, one the client wants but couldn’t dictate, and one that I believed the client would benefit from. As you can see- there were many…versions before the client fell in love with the final draft, leading to a total brand overhaul!

Modern Renaissance is to this day, one of the most insightful projects I spearheaded. When you look at your space around you, you notice that you surround yourself with the things that inspire you the most. Like traditional renaissance artists, our workspace is cluttered with love and admiration- and I wanted to capture this incredibly intimate display across my campus. I had the privilege to shoot my professors, department head, faculty, and president of the college’s space! The process of collaboration with these incredible people, alignment of 13 busy schedules, and excruciating eye for detail took 4 days to complete!
